You don’t have to be a foodie to love a lush hotel breakfast: they just make your day! I could never choose between scanning a big, awesome buffet for the best dishes and nibbling from a luxury tray in my room, gazing at the view in my pajamas- I enjoy both, depending on the occasion.
In 2018, my trips were fancier and the breakfasts were tastier- just when I thought that it couldn’t get better, it did. I had a long, lazy breakfast in bed in Principe di Savoia, enjoyed the serenity and the view of my balcony in Chic Hotel Santorini, felt like home trying the epic Greek breakfast at Kinsterna hotel’s patio and felt positively overwhelmed by the numerous thematic breakfast corners at Costa Navarino.

Street view: I enjoyed expertly made poached eggs and some desserts to die for at Odette, the restaurant of the hotel, gazing at the people passing by at Rue Pont Neuf.

At Kea Village
The Cycladic Froutalia (omelette with vegetables), the assortment of handmade breads and hams and the local cheeses were never missing from our blissful breakfast there.

At Patmos Aktis
Indulging in the creative cuisine of the award winning Apocalypsis Restaurant was quite a culinary experience for me- topped off with an equally outstanding breakfast with a view to the sea.
At Sani Resort
I tried the delicious poached eggs with salmon and avocado and I heard good comments about the eggs white omelet. Also, I had a constant dilemma between the superb buffets of the main restaurant and the relaxing Beach House.
Breakfast at Morias restaurant made it to my top 10 of not-to-be-missed experiences in this hotel. There were numerous thematic corners with bread, pastries, local cheese, organically grown fruits and vegetables and obviously eggs in any possible way you could ask.
