Living the suite life at Naxian Utopia * Naxos

This group of ultra stylish suites and villas with private pools make you feel you have your own small Cycladic paradise !

At Naxian Utopia I did feel like I had my own small Cycladic paradise, a unique feeling of privacy and luxury that is not common during the peak season on popular Greek islands like Naxos unless you are indeed the lucky owner of a villa.

My suite (the one named Exotic) included a spacious whitewashed yard with a private pool and a big hammock, an outdoor dining space, as well as a two-level accommodating area for up to 4 persons. Among the highlights: the big spa-like bathtub built in the middle of the bedroom and an in-suite hamam – sauna!

All these meant of course endless sunbathing by the pool, alfresco dining, relaxing bath rituals and non-stop reading on the hammock. The 10 suites of Naxian Utopia, which is a member of HotelBrain group, vary in size but not in style. I really loved the interior design of Naxian Utopia by Haralambos Stathakopoulos, the talented interior designer, who takes the best of minimal cycladic style, gives it a cool, modern overhaul, and throws in cool boho touches. The result is zen and photogenic! Anyone who likes interiors will find interesting details everywhere – full of natural surfaces and earthy tones.

Days at Naxian Utopia rolled in the coolest rhythm. A basket breakfast would be delivered at our doorstep at the time of our preference (and that is any time!) and right afterwards we would enjoy fresh pastries, homemade jams and various kinds of pies outdoors gazing at the view. During our stay, the weather was too windy -as expected for this time of year- and we opted for spending most of the day by our private pool. After a quick visit to the nearby sandy idyllic beaches of Agios Prokopios and Agia Anna we went to explore the island; another wonderful feature of Naxian Utopia is its proximity to everything and there is lots to do on see-and-be-seen Naxos. We made sure to always end our day with a relaxing bath and a drink at the patio of the suite under a starlit sky and a rejuvenating sleep on fluffy king size Cocomat beds!
