Best thing that happened to me this February was an invitation to “try and test” a brand new city hotel of Athens, that was recently added to the group of Cocomat Hotels.
Cocomat is a greek success story which started with bringing a revolution to quality sleep with high standard mattresses, then went on to create a whole lifestyle brand, symbolizing an updated kind of understated luxury.
So, here I am at Cocomat Hotel Athens, which opened on New Year’s eve, at all time chic Kolonaki area. It is housed in a 30’s building which was re-invented with respect to its modernistic architecture and transformed to this urban heaven that exudes organic warmth and comfort.
As everyone expects, here I had the most amazing sleep experience one can imagine and woke up rejuvenated. I enjoyed a tour of all three kinds of rooms and suites (inspired by Asia, Europe and New York) and heard about the lofts that are going to open on the 5th floor.
Of course I have to mention that in all rooms and suites, you find super comfortable beds that feature a selection of COCO-MAT’s best natural mattresses! Plus: guests can choose their pillow from a 12-item menu.
Here one can enjoy the modern version of greek hospitality, homemade food, greek specialties reinterpeted, organic products, local herbs and fresh fruits.
