Sani Resort is delighted to announce its official opening date for the Summer 2020 season

Following a full overhaul of a protocol to create a Covid-safe Sanctuary for guests to enjoy this summer, Sani Resort has announced its official opening date as 1st July. Utilising its position as a secluded and unique private sanctuary in Greece, surrounded by nature, Sani Resort has redesigned the guest experience, focusing on outdoor space and privacy. Porto Sani and Sani Asterias will be welcoming guests from 1st July to experience an unforgettable holiday at the World’s Leading Family and Beach Resort.

Sani Resort’s private setting and extensive space mean it can be a Covid-Safe Sanctuary for families, a mini self-contained world within itself. Thanks to the 1,000 acres eco-reserve and 7km sandy beaches with azure, shallow waters, families can enjoy space and privacy and naturally respect physical distancing while spending time together.

Sani Resort Summer 2020: The new protocol

It will also offer both guests and employees COVID testing, as well as launching a new tech-led touchless guest journey, ensuring that guests remain healthy and safe throughout their stay. As part of Sani Resort’s new protocol, molecular COVID testing will be carried out for the employees before the opening of the hotels, and on a periodical basis following the opening. While guests will be advised to be tested prior to arrival at Sani Resort, complimentary Rapid Antibody tests for guests will be offered through a quick and comfortable process, and non-invasive temperature measuring devices will be available at all entry points.

To address any concerns or anxieties, there will be a dedicated Doctor onsite at Sani Resort for 24 hours a day, every day. The testing model allows guests to be completely confident in the safety of Sani’s private sanctuary as they enjoy their holiday, and the stringent protocol detailed below ensures guests remain safe from Covid-19 throughout their stay. All guest rooms will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with equipment meeting ECOLAB protocols and with special attention to high-contact areas. A/C filters will be cleaned regularly and after each departure. Through this protocol, and in collaboration with leading experts CrossBorderMedCare, TUV Austria and Ecolab, Sani Resort have ensured enhanced health and safety across the Resort. Sani Resort Summer 2020: A contactless journey

By making dynamic adjustments and enhancements to their daily operations, Sani Resort have developed a stringent guest journey that prioritizes high service while minimizing touch and contact. The touchless guest journey will be achieved through use of The Sani App for reservations, room service, restaurant and spa reservations, and much more. All paper materials have been replaced with digital materials, and WhatsApp will be used effectively for any necessary transactions. Sani Resort will also be harnessing technology to achieve contactless restaurant experiences, with menus available via QR codes and mobile phones. At each point of staff and guest interaction, such as transportation, arrival and departure, physical distancing and protective measures will ensure total safety. Guests can still indulge in the delicious dining options at Sani Resort, which will now be offered a la carte only, in open-air restaurants and bars. Al fresco dining options are also available on the beach, in the rooms and suites private gardens, or in secluded natural settings across the resort.
