We have just received the announcement of the re-opening of Hotel Grande Bretagne in Athens
The most iconic hotel of Athens, Hotel Grande Bretagne has just announced that it’s going to welcome its guests again after remaining closed for 4 months. As Greece is now entering the phase of restarting tourism after the health crisis of Co-Vid 19, the historic hotel is ready to re-open its doors at Syntagma Square on July 15th.
Tasos Homenidis, CEO at owner Lampsa SA stated: “The ‘Grande Dame of Athens’ has been a point of reference for over a century for Greek and foreigners and now will assume the leading role it has always had in Greek tourism. After months of preparations, the hotel is more than ready to welcome its visitors, creating exceptional and authentic accommodation experiences for them”. General Manager of Hotel Grande Bretagne, Tim Ananiadis, said that the hotel does not only follow the instructions of the Government, but it has drawn up its own strict protocols so that all visitors feel completely safe.”
This is great news for Athens. We really can’t wait to visit the emblematic lobby of Grande Bretagne or enjoy the panoramic view from the hotel’s rooftop!
