It seems there is an unofficial competition among the most luxurious hotels of the world for the most original and spectacular Christmas Tree. We are visiting their lobbies to spot some really awesome trees, conceived by talented creative directors or often created by famous fashion designers and artists.

Langham Place, Guangzhou
This Christmas, Langham Place, Guangzhou unveils the sustainable Christmas tree of knowledge. The sustainable Christmas tree is made of 879 used books and magazines, boxes and paper collected from all team members. When the festive season ends, the books and magazines will be cleaned up and placed in the staff reading room. It is a sustainable way to pass on knowledge and good will. Langham Place, Guangzhou, believes that every small effort and imagination can reduce the environmental impact during the holiday season
Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel, London
Talking about authenticity and ambiance. Kimpton Fitzroy London (formerly known as The Principal London) launched in October 2018 after an extensive restoration paying homage to the building’s illustrious history. Overlooking Bloomsbury’s Russell Square and clad in thé-au-lait terracotta, the grande dame was originally
designed by Charles Fitzroy Doll in 1898. Now Kimpton Fitzroy welcomes its guests with a majestic entrance that leads to its trademark marble staircase, where its elegant Christmas Tree stands during the festive season.
Hotel de Paris Monte Carlo
The majestic hotel of Monte Carlo has collaborated with the famous jewelry house of Chopard. As a result, a Christmas tree named the ‘Golden Star’ made of 100% ethical gold decorated its lobby.
The Peninsula Hotel, New York
We are pretty sure that all we want for Christmas is on the wonderful Christmas Tree of The Peninsula Hotel in New York.
Claridge’s Hotel, London

Hotel Costes, Paris
Masomenos, a hip Spanish children’s brand has been in charge of the Christmas Tree of the Hotel and has made an arty and playful tree, made of scratch patches that could be moved and rearranged!
The London Edition, London

Hotel Lutetia, Paris

An upside down Christmas Tree, full of gifts awaits the guest at the lobby of elegant Royal Monceau at Avenue Hoche.
Upper House, Hong Kong
Designed by Hong Kong-based British industrial design artist Michael Young, the Christmas Tree of Upper House is composed of polished stainless steel with white enamel surfaces. Michael Young has taken the traditional Chinese cloisonné technique and applied to steel using a new and innovative formulation.
Four Seasons George V Hotel, Paris

Public Hotel, New York
The latest Ian Shrager hotel, Public Hotel opened on the Lower East Side in June, making everybody talk about its amazing design and its philosophy of offering a new updated version of luxurious hospitality. The first Christmas Tree of Public Hotel is also original and modern, conceived by Ian Shrager himself and consists of 100 glowing LED orbs that change colors through out the day.
