The luxury yurts are launched by Marriot Hotels
Marriott returns to the famed Coachella Music Festival in California this year with its luxury yurts in the festivals Safari Campgrounds located in a corner of the polo fields.
Marriott International had an idea for Coachella in 2017 that no hotel brand had ever attempted before. The brand provided festival attendees and Marriott Rewards members with a chance to stay in one of eight safari-inspired tents. Each tent was created to look and feel like rooms from some of the company’s portfolio of lifestyle brands, including Moxy Hotels and Aloft Hotels.
Guests this year are offered an all-inclusive experience at the W Village surrounded by palm trees and a quiet respite from the heat and dust at the festival. Each yurt is air-conditioned with a King size bed and living area to give the illusion of a W Hotel room. All amenities are offered including fully stocked refrigerator with custom items as well as daily maid turndown service, your own personal concierge, a private bathroom and shower (a luxury unto itself at Coachella), as well as private shuttles to the concert venue.
Guests will wake up in the morning to a custom breakfast in bed, special catering throughout the day, a private exclusive members dinner, private security, and even a yoga guru for a quick musical detox. Once you are recharged your artist wristband provided with the package gets you up close and personal to the concerts.
