Through a series of unique experiences and bespoke items, Grace Hotel Mykonos and Grace Hotel Santorini are honoring the courageous women of the world.
This October sees Grace Mykonos and Grace Santorini introduce a new social responsibility initiative, entitled “Gracefully Pink”, which will run throughout the month. Through a series of unique experiences and bespoke items, the initiative aims to celebrate October as the International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, sensitize guests and support the Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “Alma Zois”.
The Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “Alma Zois” is a non-profit organization founded in 1988 to support women who have been affected by the disease, enhance breast cancer awareness in Greece, increase early detection, offer psychosocial support and inform breast cancer patients about their labor rights and social benefits. Inspired by the stories of millions of women worldwide battling with breast cancer, ‘Gracefully Pink’ aims to remind us of the importance of inner strength and bravery.
Dedicating this initiative to these courageous women, Grace Santorini and Grace Mykonos are launching limited edition items, including bracelets, beach towels and T-shirts bearing the words “This October We Become Gracefully Pink”, in support of the Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “Alma Zois”.
Additionally, two signature cocktails will be introduced for guests to savour at the iconic 363 Champagne Lounge at Grace Santorini and at the Pool bar at Grace Mykonos, named “Think Pink” (pink gin, tonic, pink grapefruit slice and blueberries) and “Pink Punch” (raspberry purée, pink grapefruit juice, topped with pink grapefruit soda, pink grapefruit wedge, spices and a cinnamon stick).
All proceeds from the branded items will be donated to Alma Zois together with 80% of the proceeds from the cocktails. Furthermore, guests who wish to contribute to the initiative can pledge their donations to the dedicated stands in the hotels’ lobbies, throughout October.
The initiative will culminate in a special evening of celebration on Saturday 13the October, at Grace Santorini’s ‘Santoro’ restaurant. A dedicated menu crafted by the awarded Executive Chef Spyros Agious will be accompanied by beautiful melodies from renowned violinist, Leida. The scene will be set for the occasion, allowing guests to relish in the awe-inspiring views of the hotel’s renowned infinity pool that will be illuminated in pink.
