Apart from the breathtaking view you get from the famous Galaxy Bar on the terrace, Hilton Athens wow-factor is the pool. It is the biggest pool in the centre of Athens, combining the 5-star-hotel vibes with a relaxed simplicity and it has a fresh new look just in time for the summer.
The new sand coloured gray umbrellas and the white, now bigger sun loungers give the already impressive setting an atmosphere of serenity and discreet luxury. Just next to the pool, Oasis Pool Bar & Grill launches a new Mediterranean menu, ideal to accompany your sunny days to the most beautiful summer meeting point of the city.
Executive chef Costas Athanasiou‘s delicious suggestions include cold salads such as rocket, watermelon, xinomyzithra (a Greek cheese) and cranberry balsamic vinaigrette or roasted pineapple, avocado, strawberries and pickled cucumber as well as gourmet appetizers to accompany your ouzo: black taramosalata (fish roe salad), smoked tuna from Kalymnos, squid in semolina crust with spicy mayonnaise and shrimp with herbs, yoghurt dip and paprika.
Go to choices for casual meals are the hearty Black Angus burger and chicken club sandwich, but even more interesting are the Greek entries, such as tiropitari, the cheese pie of Evia and ladenia, the traditional pie of Kimolos and its alternatives, with minced meat and ginger or Greek mozzarella, basil and truffle oil.
You can also enjoy healthy smoothies such as the Green Power Detoxification with spinach, kale, ginger, and lime, the Body Energy toner with almond milk, honey and tahini, and the Exotic Touch flavored with coconut milk, banana and peanut butter.
The Hilton swimming pool runs from 8:00 in the morning until 9:00 in the evening. The Oasis Pool Bar & Grill is open from 10:00 in the morning until 7:30 in the afternoon.
