The festive desserts by Pastry Chef François Perret
At the Ritz Paris Chalet, guests and visitors will have the chance to taste Pastry Chef François Perret’s creations. François Perret, who was awarded the Valrhona Prize for Best Restaurant Pastry Chef of Les Grandes Tables du Monde last October, has established himself as a leading figure in French pastry. For Christmas 2019, he has created his own version of the Apfelstrudel, a traditional Christmas gingerbread as well as a feuilleté Chocolat and a noisette cuit minute. To warm up, François Perret will serve the delicious Ritz Paris signature hot chocolate – a Venezuela 70% of incomparable creaminess. Those that desire to take a little bit of the Ritz Paris back home with them, they will be able to pick treats for gifting presented in pretty signed boxes: chocolate keys, marble cake and of course, the irresistible Ritz Paris chocolate teddy bear!
The Christmas 2019 Ritz Paris Christmas Log
And there is more. What is this year’s Christmas Log going to be like? This special creation is designed for bringing people together and for sharing. It is composed of a moist biscuit with torrefied hazelnuts dipped in creamy Gianduja and Carupano 70% dark chocolate. An airy cream made with Muscovado – an unrefined cane sugar with notes of caramel and vanilla – brings it a final, epicurean touch. An aroma harking back to childhood and an ethereal heart, an abracadabra-esque chocolate spiral and a sprinkling of caramelized gold cocoa beans make it all the more enchanting.
