Just moments away from the busy Champs-Elysées, a luxurious hidden hospitality gem awaits!
Dimmed lights, street artists, thousands of tourists, cute bistrots and chatter in french- Paris is a moveable feast, as Hemingway put it in his autobiographical love-letter to the city. But after a full day of experiencing the city with all one’s senses, there’s the need of a peaceful and cosy nest, just to unwind and re-charge for the next day.
Right in the heart of the posh 8th arrondisement, just moments away from the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and the Elysée Palace, Madeleine and the Champs-Elysées, there is Paris’s new hospitality gem and hidden secret, which bears the name Les Jardins du Faubourg.
Behind its impressive double doors, hidden from view, lies a stylish 5-star boutique hotel, welcoming guests in a new dimension of French luxury. Located in a former Haussmann town house, Les Jardins du Faubourg is the result of a full renovation, with tailor made everything, yet still with solid references and elements from its original character (like the impresive stone staircase which stood the test of time).
Les Jardins du Faubourg offers 36 rooms (4 of which are suites), based on two different concepts: Contemporary and Parisian, representing two different aspects of French luxury but sharing the same elegance and cosy atmosphere. High ceilings, mouldings, green velvet armchairs, golden round mirrors, and tall windows framed by beautiful draped curtains create the perfect combination of classic style with a modern, sophisticated haute couture twist.
The rooms jaw-dropping element –a bespoke cabinet of curiosities, stands alongside an delicate console table, while contemporary paintings and lithographs in calming, neutral shades make for a serene atmosphere. The bathroom is equally sophisticated, featuring marble, glass and delicate gold taps which have been specially designed for Les Jardins du Faubourg.
Yet, you haven’t really seen the hotel’s true heart if you haven’t been to the garden. At the heart of the property, full of exotic plants, Japanese bamboo and flowering shrubs, and exuding a light jasmine fragrance, there is a peaceful but lush garden. It gives off zen vibes in total contrast with the neighbouring streets hustle and bustle.
In this little oasis of greenery, guests can enjoy sophisticated dishes of the hotel’s restaurant, La Régalade du Faubourg, and it also makes a perfect view for the hotel’s rooms and chic bar The Confidential.
Last but not least, Les Jardins du Faubourg offers a luxurious spa with a 15-metre swimming pool, for a complete relaxing and pampering experience.
