The Eternal City’s new hotel entry is the definition of “la dolce vita”
If riding a stylish vespa in front of Piazza Venezia, dressed in a 50’s full skirt and shirt is what you have in mind for a holiday in Rome, then you definitely have great taste (and have watched Roman Holiday at least a couple of times).
Since May the visitors of Rome can actually live a movie-like experience by staying in the freshly opened- post highly anticipated italian luxury hotel Hotel de la Ville. Described as a “vibrant, modern-day icon atop the Spanish Steps”, Hotel de la Ville is Rocco Forte Hotel Group’s latest addition. An 18th-century palazzo was transformed into an lush hideaway in the heart of the city, with sky-high views Rome’s rooftops.
A design collaboration between Olga Polizzi and Tommaso Ziffer has created some of the most elegant and spacious hotel rooms in Rome. Hotel De La Ville’s 104 rooms and suites are filled with playful, contemporary furniture and sumptuous fabrics that draw influence from the era of the Grand Tour and the memories that would have been collected during the journey.
Besides the rooms, guests can choose between four different bars and restaurants, overseen by Michelin-starred chef Fulvio Pierangelini: the elegant and refined Mosaico, the alluring Julep Herbal and Vermouth Bar, the sophisticated Da Sistina restaurant and the highlight- the glamorous rooftop terrace bar Cielo.
The luxurious spa with custom made Sicilian skincare products is another wow-factor of the hotel, which offers an impressive list of activities and unique experiences!
