The Editor Hotel is ready to turn the page of ordinary hospitality and mark the word cool in bold
Brand new and super welcoming, The Editor Athens Hotel recently opened its doors, offering a unique and outstanding hospitality experience to guests from all over the world.
Just a few meters away from the vibrant Agias Eirinis square, this new member of the family of Tresor Hotels – HIP.Hospitality is an urban shelter, a perfect addition to the city’s colourful and diverse center while at the same time it celebrates the buildings former identity as a famous printing house.
This 4 starred boutique hotel is bringing new life to the birthplace and only home of the historic sports newspaper “Αθλητική Ηχώ”, hence the name of the hotel, paying homage to a once celebrated printing house and a landmark building, transformed quickly in an elegant hotel.
After its complete, impressive restoration and redesign of the property, the 40 exquisitely decorated rooms and suites offer a modern and practical approach to hospitality, incorporating the spirit of Athens, full of energy and light. Clean lines, minimal interiors and custom services make for the perfect hospitality experience.
The elegant, sophisticated decoration, the refined details inspired by the buildings’ former use, turn staying at The Editor Athens Hotel an unforgettable experience. All the rooms include air conditioning, LED TV, and room service while a walk-in shower can be found in the elegant bathroom.
There is, of course, the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, Stories Urban Bistronomy, decorated in a minimal urban style boasting a stunning view of the Acropolis. The restaurant expands in two levels – an indoor space and an open-air bar. Executive Chef Giannis Liokas has prepared a refreshing and tasteful menu, with a focus on the comfort, modern version of Greek gastronomy. Traditional dishes with a twist are in line with his philosophy that “gastronomy is for everyone”.
The same goes for the all-day restaurant The Publisher, on the ground floor, bathing in natural light coming through the glass ceiling.
Athens’s new hotel entry is cool, sophisticated and a must for your next visit!
