This year, the Villa Marie is getting a makeover and inaugurating a brand new terrace that smells of Italy. The opportunity to let time stretch out in a chic bohemian atmosphere and enjoy a cuisine with Mediterranean accents. on a background of warm and comforting tones.
Under the glass roof of the Dolce Vita restaurant, the atmosphere is hushed, subtly highlighted light and enhanced with a few touches of coral. Elegant decor , full of freshness and composed of true flavors that incense the meticulously selected products from handpicked suppliers then worked with dexterity.
The À la carte menu, a delicious ode to the Mediterranean kitchen, includes rock soup in the style of bouillabaisse, grilled mullet, riviera condiments; shoulder confit of lamb, country zucchini canollis, lemon thyme jus, bar steak, sautéed baby peas, peppery guanciale and candied lemon, risotto with truffles summer, full-bodied poultry jus and reggiano, lemon soufflé caviar and Maltese orange sorbet.
If dinner is served on the huge veranda dotted with plants, lunch takes place around tables set on different terraces with preserved privacy. Fragrant wisteria, jasmine, rosebushes and other honeysuckles form a landscape evoking the solid colors by painter Mark Rothko: green waves of clumps of pines and vineyards of the peninsula, extended blue of the sea and the sky of the Bay of Pampelonne. Equally cheerful, the midday cuisine celebrates freshness like the Velouté glacé de petit peas and cucumber, sheep finger and candied lemon, which indisputably arouses the appetite.
