All about the Rosewood London’s luxurious afternoon tea inspired by Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee
Rosewood London will celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee with a Jubilee Courtyard Party in the magnificently decorated courtyard of the iconic luxury hotel. With live music, unique cocktail creations and culinary delights, Rosewood London will present the best of British culture on the occasion of Her Majesty’s 70th throne jubilee, surprising real royal fans with a unique “Rosewood Royalty” arrangement.
The Queen Jubilee Afternoon Tea
Created by Executive Pastry Chef Mark Perkin, the Art Afternoon Tea experience inspired by the Queen’s Jubilee will offer culinary celebrations of this venerable day including Blue Lobster and Marie Rose Brioche, Clarence Court Egg Mayonnaise Rolls, Freshly Baked Scones with Cornish Clotted Cream, homemade Lemon Curd and English Strawberry Jam, and accompanied by a selection of artistically inspired pastries.
For true royal fans looking to party all weekend, Rosewood London offers the ‘Rosewood Royalty’ package which includes tickets to the Jubilee Courtyard Party, breakfast in the Holborn Dining Room and a jubilee-inspired welcome gift.
Rosewood London is also celebrating Her Majesty’s 70th jubilee with:
· Scarfes Bar: The Gan-Gan cocktail, a delicate blend of Dubonnet and gin, honors the Queen with her personal favorite drinks. The recipe, which will be launched on April 24th, consists of Copperhead Scarfes Edition, Chocolate Dubonnet, Vetiver & Blackcurrant Cordial, Aquavit Line and Chocolate Bitter
· Holborn Dining Room: To celebrate British heritage, Executive Head Chef Calum Franklin is serving a special slate of mini favorites including a Scotch Egg, Sausage Roll and Coronation Pie in June
· Mirror Room: Inspired by Salvador Dali’s works and surrealism, the Queen of Heart cake celebrates the Queen’s platinum anniversary with strawberry mousse, peach jelly and an almond sponge.
