It will open its doors in April at Halkidiki, one of Greece’s premium tourist destinations
Located in Sani Resort, a stunning complex of five 5* Hotels and a marina on more than 400 hectares, the Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre will comprise eight clay courts on which tennis courses will be available to players of all ages and standards. The goal is to provide high-quality tennis coaching so that guests and residents of the area can play and take classes as part of a tailored programme that is customised to the different player profiles. These programmes have been developed through an exclusive training system, based on the successful experience acquired by Rafa Nadal and his coaching staff which were incorporated during Nadal’s profesional tennis tours spanning 15 years. To guarantee coaching excellence, all of the coaching staff at the new Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre will spend two months in Manacor, Mallorca starting in February, learning the methodology that has been implemented at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar.
Sani Resort, located less than one hour from Thessaloniki, a capital of European culture, has established itself as one of the biggest holiday destinations in the Mediterranean. The resort’s wide range of leisure activities and stunning surroundings will now also bring significant added value for tennis lovers, who can enjoy a holiday in paradise, whilst improving on their tennis technique and game.
Rafa Nadal himself wanted to express his excitement at the new opening: “I’m very happy that we are officially announcing the opening of a new Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre in Greece as it consolidates the Academy’s global expansion project. I would like to thank Sani Resort for the trust it has placed our team; I’m sure this partnership will be a success, particularly for tennis fans, who I would like to invite to come and enjoy this wonderful facility, starting from the month of April”.
