Checking in at Physis suite of Life Gallery
Sometimes you simply have to clear your head. Sometimes your really need to escape. This is how I felt a few days before Christmas and had to urgently find a luxurious home away (but not too far away) from home, for me and my family. And I certainly found it.
What I did was plan a family escape. We would simulate a short vacation plan. In fact we would only drive 20 minutes from home in order to leave everything behind and live a relaxing weekend experience.
Imagine a sleek, modern room surrounded by refreshing greenery, located at Ekali, one of the most stylish and posh suburbs, north of Athens. This would be our shelter for the weekend. No gift shopping, no “to do” list writing, no house making. Only time for us!
So we found ourselves at Life Gallery, a 5 star modern retreat of pure relaxation and tranquility. Its unique location in Ekali, surrounded by a pine forest, its contemporary architecture with geometric glass surfaces and minimalist design, come together to offer a very special experience indeed.
Physis Suite at Life Gallery
Life Gallery team welcomed us with a big surprise! They had booked the brand new suite called “Physis Suite” for us. The moment we entered, we understood the suite had taken its name from its unique connection with nature, “Physis” in Greek, that its guests can experience. Two sides of the spacious rectangular suite were actually glass windows guaranteeing an amazing contact with the surrounding lush greenery.
I loved that I could open the drapes at a press of the button and enjoy these awesome views. This was exactly what I needed to rid myself of the stressful, intense rhythms of everyday life. With a little help of the Life Gallery spa, of course.
The Orloff Day Spa at Life Gallery
The state-of-the-art wet area, with sauna, steam bath, vitality pool and shower path revives each visitor with unique moments, whilst personalised facial and body treatments using products from Valmont and Cinq Mondes, as well as toning massages, are guaranteed to renew even the most tired of bodies!
I turned off my phone and spent a couple of hours at the spa, enjoying a full body massage and a rejuvenating facial treatment with Valmont products which I adore!
The Kool Life Restaurant at Life Gallery
During that weekend all in the family, devoted time to ourselves but also had the chance to catch up over a delicious dinner and a Sunday breakfast that lasted for hours at the hotel’s award-winning restaurant, Kool Life.
This warm and welcoming establishment stole our heart from the very first moment, accompanied by the suggestions of chef Thanos Moraitis and his menu dedicated to Greek and Mediterranean cuisine
With a sleek design, aristocratic air, urban heartbeat, and personalised services offered by the hotel makes Life Gallerry Athens the idea choice for visitors from around the world.
