Four Seasons has opened reservations for Hotel Danieli in Venice, confirming first guest arrivals from August 26, 2026.
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has opened reservations for Hotel Danieli, confirming that the restored landmark property will welcome its first guests from August 26, 2026. The reopening follows an extensive multi-year restoration of the lagoon-front hotel, located on Riva degli Schiavoni near Piazza San Marco.

At launch, the hotel will operate with 120 rooms and suites, including 52 suites, with a second phase planned for 2027 that will increase the total inventory to 176 accommodations. A significant number of rooms and suites are designed to be interconnected, many with direct views over the Venetian Lagoon. Dining venues confirmed for the initial opening include Restaurant and Bar Terrazza Danieli and Bar Dandolo, while the Danieli Spa is scheduled to open later in 2026.
The hotel occupies three interconnected historic palaces: the 15th-century Palazzo Dandolo, the 19th-century Palazzo Casa Nuova, and the mid-20th-century Palazzo Excelsior. The restoration and interior redesign have been led by Pierre-Yves Rochon, whose work integrates contemporary hospitality standards within the architectural and decorative heritage of the buildings.

Leadership appointments have also been confirmed ahead of the reopening. Christian Zandonella has been named General Manager, overseeing hotel operations following previous roles in Italy and other European destinations. The culinary programme will be led by Executive Chef Adriano Rausa, with a focus on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
The reopening of Hotel Danieli marks Four Seasons’ debut in Venice and forms part of the brand’s broader expansion across Italy, where several historic properties have been repositioned under the group’s management. According to the company, reservations are now being accepted for arrivals from late August 2026, with additional facilities and the full room inventory to follow in subsequent phases.
The reopening was first announced earlier this year as part of Four Seasons’ plans to relaunch Hotel Danieli following a comprehensive restoration.
It also places Hotel Danieli among several high-profile luxury hotel launches scheduled across Europe in 2026.
