The Greek hospitality group Domes will open two new Aulūs resorts in April 2026, marking a strategic repositioning of its ultra all-inclusive sub brand within the Curio Collection by Hilton portfolio.
Domes has announced the opening of two new Aulūs properties scheduled for April 2026: Aulūs Chania in Crete and Aulūs Lindos Rhodes. Both resorts will operate under the Curio Collection by Hilton brand, expanding Domes’ presence in the lifestyle driven all-inclusive segment. The two openings build on the existing Aulūs portfolio, which includes Domes Aulūs Elounda in Crete and Domes Aulūs Zante in Zakynthos. Aulūs Chania is conceived as an adults only resort, while Aulūs Lindos Rhodes adopts a family friendly positioning, reflecting a dual strategy that addresses different travel profiles within the same conceptual framework.
Design & Atmosphere
The repositioned Aulūs concept moves away from conventional all-inclusive aesthetics, placing emphasis on contemporary Mediterranean architecture, open spatial planning, and an atmosphere designed to feel relaxed rather than programmed. Both resorts are designed to integrate seamlessly with their natural and cultural surroundings, favouring clean architectural lines, outdoor living areas, and a palette that references local materials and light.
In Chania, the resort is located in Stavros, on the north coast of Crete, approximately 25 minutes from the city’s historic harbour. The setting allows for a quieter, more contemplative atmosphere while maintaining proximity to one of Crete’s most architecturally layered urban centres. In Rhodes, the Lindos property sits near Lardos, with access to the wider southeastern coastline, balancing resort privacy with easy connections to established destinations such as Lindos and Kiotari.
The Experience
Both Aulūs resorts are structured around three core pillars: gastronomy, wellbeing, and social programming. Dining is designed as a flexible experience, combining 24 hour buffet service with à la carte restaurants that allow unlimited visits, complemented by curated Greek wine labels and premium spirits. Beach and poolside areas introduce hybrid grab and go and self service formats, reducing the formality often associated with resort dining.
Wellbeing is anchored by the SOMA Spa concept, present at both properties, alongside fully equipped fitness facilities and open access group sessions including yoga, Pilates, and sound healing. Cultural programming plays a central role, with weekly Greek festivals featuring food, music, and dance, as well as evening shows and curated off site experiences intended to connect guests with the surrounding region.
Aulūs Chania will offer 200 rooms and suites, three main pools, a floating sea deck, indoor and outdoor event spaces, and a chapel for weddings. Aulūs Lindos Rhodes will feature 188 rooms and suites, many with private pools or outdoor Jacuzzis, family accommodations with interconnecting rooms, four restaurants, tennis courts, and a Kids Club inspired by Montessori principles.
