In the most serene Athenian spot and the historic lobby of the hotel, the Winter Garden of Hotel Grand Bretagne offers a unique atmosphere to enjoy an Afternoon Tea.
Picture this. It’s the middle of the week in a month that nothing happens and here I am at the most emblematic hotel of my city, at Hotel Grand Bretagne trying the new afternoon tea menu in a fairy tale setting inspired by Cinderella and her famous ball!

This is how we experienced the best afternoon tea ritual of Athens. Delicious cakes, mouth-watering mini sandwiches and a large variety of sweet delights kept coming to our tables, while dancers of the National Οpera were dancing the Waltz. Best take-away surprise: the little shoe made of white chocolate that was given to us as a press gift!
So, have this in mind: In the most serene Athenian spot and the historic lobby of the hotel, the Winter Garden of Hotel Grand Bretagne offers a unique atmosphere to enjoy an Afternoon Tea. The homemade strawberry, apricot and plum marmalade, the freshly baked scones served with clotted cream, the colorful macaroons, a cup of tea which is constantly refilled and the delicious finger food set the scene for an authentic British afternoon tea.
