For those who love British style, The Goring in the heart of London’s beautiful Belgravia has prepared an impeccably elegant Christmas season in collaboration with Fortnum & Mason. Whether it’s an overnight stay, party or festive dining, this gorgeous, family-owned hotel is the perfect place to delight in a magical Christmas with all of the traditional trimmings.
The partnership with the iconic British store has brought two magnificently decorated Naughty and Nice Christmas trees to the hotel. The ’Nice’ tree is adorned in a beautiful variety of different sized blue and gold baubles, dainty teacups, saucers and charming teapots from Fortnum and Mason’s famous crockery range. The base of the tree is surrounded by various wonderfully English Wicker baskets tied closed with shimmering golden ribbons. Whilst the ’Naughty’ tree exhibits a fun and frivolous feel with a playful selection of oversized baubles in pink, green, blue and red. Alongside baubles will be colourful ribbons and twirls, sparkling champagne ornaments and exuberant confectionary charms. Think delicious-looking macarons and perfectly wrapped sweets. A feast for the eyes!
Following this exclusive Christmas partnership, the hotel has also announced two wonderfully decadent stays: Guests searching for extravagance need not look further than The Naughty Christmas stay. Check into an elegant suite and delve deep into a beautiful wicker basket filled with the most opulent of surprises from Fortnum and Mason’s. Look forward to a magnum of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008, the limited edition 62 Gun Salute Whisky from Royal Salute, scrumptious biscuits, an exquisitely scented candle, a pure silk eye mask and so much more. By contrast, The Nice Christmas stay will bring a hamper filled with a more traditional selection of Fortnum’s treats including the finest teatime delights, Fortnum’s unbeatable chocolate-covered spiced Merrilossus biscuits, irresistible smoked cheese straws, dark chocolates and Blanc de Blancs Champagne to name a few. After wicker hampers Naughty or Nice have been explored guests are then invited to enjoy a three-course dinner for two in the Michelin-starred Dining Room followed by an irresistible full English breakfast the next morning!
