Famous Claridge’s hotel of London just made the following statement: “We are delighted to announce Claridge’s Christmas Tree 2019 will be designed by our dear friend and longtime guest Christian Louboutin. Christian will unveil his creation in Claridge’s lobby on Thursday, November 21st, 2019.
This is the tenth year that Claridge’s has invited a creative visionary to reinterpret the tree in their own distinctive style. Τhe annual tradition began in 2009 when John Galliano for Dior created a tropical tree adorned with snow leopard, dragonflies and parrots, echoing Claridge’s art deco surroundings. Last year it was fashion icon and also long-time guest of the hotel Diane Von Furstenberg that created the “Tree of Love“, inspired by the designer’s strong belief in the power of love. “I’ll be bringing a little bit of Paris to London,” said the shoe designer extraordinaire to Vogue! Shall we also expect embellished sandals and pointed pumps on its famously ornate festive tree?
