All travel fans have their own essentials that can bring perfection to their favourite activity. This is my #hotellife survival kit – yes, I need one in every hotel room, even the most luxurious one.

1. Τhe book
I like to choose a book that I have recently bought and feel excited about. My aim is to combine my precious hotel relaxing moments with a read that pleases me. Also, I usually pick a book with an inspiring subject which will motivate me to new beginnings. This is because in a hotel room I always feel more likely to start something new, than during my usual everyday routine.

2. The candle
I am very picky with smells so I make sure that I always have with me a candle with a favourite smell of mine, which is able to make me feel more at home.

3. The teas
If you follow my instagram, you will soon realize that I am a tea addict! I prefer specific tea blends for each time of the day. Tea bags do not take up much space but can change my mood, relax me or invigorate me at an instant. The only thing I have to do is add some hot water (sometimes I even do so in the flights).
In the photo: This is a range of herbal teas by my favourite greek brand Korres, where saffron is combined with various organic herbs to create premium taste blends. Love all variations!
4. The essential oils
Here is the smell issue again. Darphin specializes in essential oils. When I started to use its products, I fell in love with the series with the essential oils. I never fail to take them with me. Just think that it is a tiny bottle with so many uses. Two drops of it in my hot bath and my hotel escape just approached perfection! Also try to apply any essential oil on the face before sleep and it will deliver a silky finish and nutritive glow-bestowing benefits.

5. The perfume
This is how I manage to have my perfume everywhere with me and at the same time, save precious space from my luggage. Among my essentials, definitely!

This is a gadget I found in Colette during a recent trip to Paris and I like to have it with me all the time so that I can … eat whatever!
