After Paris, New York, Courchevel, and Saint-Barth, the Fouquet’s brand makes its Mediterranean debut on Paraga Beach.
The Champs-Élysées has officially packed its bags for the Aegean.
On June 27, 2026, the Lucien Barrière Group opens Fouquet’s Mykonos, the brand’s fifth address in the world, and its first ever in Greece. After Paris (where it all began, at the most iconic corner of the most iconic avenue), New York, Courchevel, and Saint-Barthélemy, the Fouquet’s brand has chosen Mykonos as its next act. And honestly? It makes complete sense.
61 Suites, 3 Villas, and a Basketball Court Carved Into Rock
The property features 61 suites and 3 private villas, whose architecture, inspired by Cycladic tradition, showcases clean lines and natural materials in constant dialogue with the light and the sea. Architecture is by Kydoniatis Architects, with interiors handled by Divercity Architects and Variation Studio — a collaboration that reads as fluent in both French refinement and Greek restraint. The three private villas range from 600 to 1,000 m², with five to ten bedrooms each, along with private pools, jacuzzis, and private coves. At rates that can reach €40,000 per night, this is not your average summer rental.

Two architectural details worth noting: an indoor swimming pool, considered a rare addition on Mykonos, and a full-size basketball court carved directly into the rock.
An exclusive restaurant in partnership with Roka – sister brand to Zuma – rounds out the food and drink offering, bringing the kind of effortless energy that’s made Roka a fixture in every city that takes dining seriously.
The Wellness Angle: Dr. Barbara Sturm Meets the Aegean

The Rock Spa, developed in partnership with Dr. Barbara Sturm, invites guests to experience hyperbaric oxygenation, a floatation tank, and ice baths — all set within the island’s natural rock formations. It’s the kind of wellness programme that’s less “cucumber slices on your eyes” and more “recalibrate your entire nervous system before dinner.”
The Fouquet’s DNA, Exported Beautifully
What makes this opening significant isn’t just the address. Fouquet’s was founded in Paris in 1899, and has spent over a century being synonymous with a very specific kind of French glamour, theatrical, unapologetic, and always impeccably executed. Bringing that to Mykonos, where the light is sharper and the energy is louder, is either a very bold move or a very obvious one.

The project was developed in partnership with the Yoda Group, and is operated under a management agreement by the Barrière Group.
