The Dior Christmas Tree at Four Seasons Prague
This year, the festive season at Four Seasons Prague is brightened by a unique Dior tree in the lobby of the hotel, where lovers of fashion and Christmas atmosphere can enjoy unique decorations and a stylish celebration of Advent with a dessert inspired by the iconic fashion brand. The tree, more than three metres (ten feet) high, is decorated with ornaments featuring the collection’s motifs, in which Maria Grazia Chiuri, creative director at Dior, celebrates imagination and the fusion of historical heritage with contemporary inventiveness. The sophisticated decorations in blue and gold will envelop visitors in a fashionably festive atmosphere until January 8, 2023.

Clara and her Nutcracker, Uncle Drosselmeyer, the Mouse King and the Sugar Plum Fairy have taken up residence with an invitation to guests to take a little time to explore and find them. At the hotel’s beating heart is the Lobby Bar with a ceiling full of golden and white stars and a seven-metre-tall tulle-covered tree. Soaring to the top, this is our resident florist, Mark Siredzuk’s twinkling tribute to the ethereal beauty of ballet – a nod to the dancers who will be treading the boards at the nearby Royal Opera House this Christmas.

Shangri-La The Shard, London has welcomed the 2022 festive season by unveiling a cosmic take on traditional décor and a space-age Christmas tree designed by McQueens Flowers. Located on the hotel’s ground floor lobby, this year’s Christmas tree stands at an impressive 12 feet tall. It is constructed using contemporary geometric metal cubes, preserved and dried blue, silver and gold florals, glittering disco balls and crinkled silver foil. In a space-age twist on traditional Christmas lights, bands of swirling neon light travel down the tree, changing in colour from purple to white.

This year’s Christmas tree at NoMad London is rooted in the regal origins of the festive tradition in Britain dating back to 1800, in celebration of the new King and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II. Created by The London Flower School, this beautiful Christmas Tree draws inspiration from the flower garlands displayed at Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation in 1953.
