The Hotel Trotter started as an instagram account by greek lifestyle journalist and fanatic hotel lover Eleni Stasinopoulou

The Hotel Trotter likes trotting from hotel to hotel, enjoying buffet breakfasts and sunset drinks, pool sunbeds and private beaches, cozy lobbies and rooms with a view, emblematic buildings and historic ballrooms, do not disturb signs and pillow menus, receptions and rooftops – the list is endless – and all kinds of hotel moments 

Eleni Stasinopoulou, the creator of TheHotelTrotter, has been a fashion and lifestyle journalist for 20 years and a contributor to well-known magazines such as Madame Figaro and InStyle. For eight years, she has worked as a Style Editor for the Greek edition of InStyle magazine. She actively participated in the introduction of digital media in the Greek market and the last four years she holds the position of the Editor in Chief at two of the most popular women sites in Greece: MissBloom.gr and MadameFigaro.gr.

Eleni is recognized as an online social media influencer in fashion and lifestyle as @Elenista and has also hosted a series of styling seminars, named StyleYourSelf. She often appears on popular tv shows, giving fashion tips and commenting on fashion trends and star looks. 

This is what she says about her biggest obsession, hotels:

Ι grew up believing that every hotel is an exciting parallel universe. I believe in hotel magic! Magic happens every single time. A nice hotel can turn me into a much better version of myself. Show me the reception and I instantly forget all my everyday chaos. I am always ready to move into this world of liberating temporality, where#vacationmode is switched on.

This blog is focusing exactly on this obsession of mine, the #hotellife which to me symbolizes a much needed carefree mode of living.
