Dior returns to Cannes with its exclusive beauty suite inside Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic, featuring Riviera-inspired interiors, celebrity glam teams and sea-view luxury during the 2026 Film Festival.
At the Cannes Film Festival, beauty preparations happen behind some of the world’s most photographed doors. This year, Dior once again transforms a private suite inside Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes into one of the Riviera’s most exclusive backstage beauty sanctuaries. Perched on the sixth floor of the legendary Croisette hotel, the Dior Suite returns for the 79th edition of the festival, welcoming celebrities between May 12 and 23 for red carpet preparations overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Inside Dior’s Cannes Beauty Headquarters
Each year, the suite is redesigned exclusively for Cannes, and the 2026 edition leans fully into Riviera fantasy. A palette of crisp white and sky blue references the coastline just outside, while striped fabrics evoke the elegance of vintage beach clubs along the French Riviera.
The interiors mix theatricality with Dior signatures: wicker seashell details, palm-tree lamps, handwritten Monsieur Dior motifs and walls decorated with masked-ball characters inspired by the illustrations of French artist Christian Bérard, whose work once intersected with the world of Christian Dior himself.
At the center of the reception area sits an old-fashioned tent installation described as a “room within a room,” wrapped in the Dior Masquerade motif. Beyond it, a sea-facing salon with white sofas and private terraces becomes a calm refuge before the flashbulbs begin.

Where Cannes Red Carpet Looks Come Together
The Dior Suite functions as a complete beauty atelier during the festival. Facialists, massage therapists, makeup artists, hairstylists and grooming experts work privately with actors, directors and ambassadors before premieres and photocalls. Last year, the suite hosted names including Natalie Portman, Robert Pattinson, Jennifer Lawrence and Ryo Yoshizawa.
This year’s beauty roster includes Dior wellness expert Hadda Akrim and celebrity facialist Sarah Akram, alongside an international team of Dior Backstage makeup artists working with products created under the direction of Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup. A dedicated Dior Vernis nail bar handles manicures, while barber Brice Tchaga oversees grooming for male guests using products from the Dior Sauvage line fronted by Johnny Depp.

Dior x Dyson Return to Cannes
Dior also continues its Cannes collaboration with Dyson Beauty, spotlighting tools including the Dyson Supersonic r™ hair dryer and the new HushJet Mini Cool handheld fan, both expected to become Riviera essentials during festival season.

Cannes’ Most Exclusive Address Before the Red Carpet
More than a hospitality activation, the Dior Suite has become part of Cannes mythology itself: a hidden world where couture beauty rituals unfold quietly before celebrities step onto the Palais staircase. And in a festival built on cinema, image and illusion, it may be the most glamorous backstage room on the Croisette.
