This is so good news for all lovers of great boutique hotel design. As for me, I always feel curious about a project designed by Philippe Starck. If it is a hotel, I am excited to discover every time a new, innovative concept of his. 9 Confidentiel is the latest hospitality project of Philippe Starck. It is located in the heart of Marais and has a totally different feel from Brach Hotel (which you can see here). 9Confidentiel was designed by Starck to be an intimate hotel, a jewelry box, a treasure trove.

The hotel is housed in an Art Deco building and has 29 rooms across six floors, three of which are suites with a panoramic view over the roofs of Paris, as well as a breakfast room, a cocktail bar and a tea room. This time the famous designer was inspired by the subtle and sophisticated poetry of the 1920s.
9Confidentiel and Philippe Starck welcome us in a pastel world that is melded with light wood, brushed stainless steel, rose brass and wrought iron. An elegant eclecticism found in a series of outsider art adds a touch of surrealism.

The breakfast room, which turns into a tea room in the afternoon, is the ideal place to discover the creations of pastry chef Yann Couvreur in a unique setting. When evening comes, the Confidence cocktail bar invites hotel guests or visitors to escape out of time thanks to a cocktail menu put together by genius mixologist Nico de Soto.
